Lisa Kennedy

Lisa completed her BSc in Medicinal Chemistry & Chemical Biology at University College Dublin, graduating in 2022. During her final year in UCD, she carried out a 9-month research project under the supervision of Dr. Elaine O’Reilly focusing on a transaminase triggered aza-Michael reaction for the formation of substituted pyrrolidines. Lisa also gained industry experience during her placement with Takeda Ireland in 2021 where she worked as part of the Process Development Team.

Lisa is undertaking a PhD in association with IBioIC and EaSI-CAT where she will work towards establishing a biocatalytic cascade for the synthesis of resorcinol molecules
